About the Workshop
This workshop aims to provide a conceptual understanding of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Focusing on its causes, symptoms, and consequences, the workshop will further emphasize the importance of remedial training for ADHD from an Indian perspective. Utilizing an experiential approach, the session will include educational activities to provide insight into the challenges that come with the condition. After this workshop, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to understand the causal symptoms of ADHD and design therapeutic goals for effective intervention. Participants will receive an e-certificate upon completion of the workshop. Participants will have to fill out a feedback form to be eligible for the e-certificate, which will be mailed to you within 2 days of the workshop.

Only registered participants may attend this workshop. This workshop will be a perfect learning opportunity for aspiring psychotherapists and special educators, students of Psychology (Bachelors or above), or other mental health practitioners, advocates, and enthusiasts. Parents of children, teachers, and educators are also invited to participate in this workshop. You do not need prior experience in the understanding of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the basics and foundation for the understanding of it will be covered through this session.

About the facilitator
Mandeep Kaur is one of the few licensed and certified therapists through the Rehabilitation Council of India. She completed her graduation in Psychology (Hons.) from Delhi University and her Masters in Applied Psychology from Vinayaka Mission University. She also holds postgraduate diplomas in Guidance and Counseling from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, as well as in Rehabilitation Psychology from MDU, Rohtak. She is an avid Mental Health advocate and has over 10 years of experience working in the field in India. Her core area of interest and expertise is Child and Adolescent Developmental and Adjustment challenges.
