About the Workshop

Debunk myths about Positive Psychology while taking a deep dive into the PERMA model by Martin Seligman that highlights the importance of Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Achievement in Psychology. Learn your happiness quotient, how to measure it, signature strengths, as well as novel concepts in positive psychology through interactive discussions and activities. This workshop covers the science of wellbeing, strategies, and techniques of positive psychology that can be employed to become professionals in the field, and also used for self-care and healthy living.

About the facilitator.

Dr. Niharika Thakkar is the founder of PsychLine.in. She is an experienced therapist and behavioral sciences researcher by profession as well as by passion. She holds a Ph.D. through Leiden University, The Netherlands, and currently lives in New York. She completed her Bachelors and Masters in Clinical Psychology from Fergusson College, Pune. She is one of the few Indians who has several international publications to her name, working towards transforming mental health care in India to end the stigma and provide good quality care to ALL.
